I loved seeing the F-89's. I especially loved seeing the F-89H with the 437th. It seems it's the lost Scorpion version. With those Falcon missiles buried in the pods, it looked much more lethal than the D's or J's The small build of the H makes for a lot less photo coverage. I got a set of resin "H" wing tip tanks way back at a IPMS Nats Convention once, but I never finished it. Maybe because of the scalloped nose painting or lack of more than a single B&W side view of the H. I always kicked myself when I got back from being in L.A. that I didn't go out to Oxnard,Ca to see if they had any museum there on their closed Oxnard AFB and maybe see any other F-89H photos. John M
