1/48 Bf-109 G10 update set for revell BF-109
Here is another update set for the Old Revell BF-109 G10. The conversion fixes the problem around the intake scoop with the nose. The new wing allows one to build the two different wing configuration with the wing bulges. The cost is $20.00. I found Kevin easy to deal. Plus quickly sends replacement for defect castings...

1/48 Bf-109 G-14 resin conversion
Kevin Martin A.K.A 109ACE is produce a great conversion set for the Revell/Monogram BF-109 G10. With this set you can now make a G-14. I did purchase the full meal deal as Kevin call it. The resin parts are well made. The best part the cost is 20 bucks. You can't bet that deal. Here is a link to his Ebay shop: 109 Ace model shop

The Erla-built Me 109 G10
Erla-manufactured G10s are the most misidentified ones, and have been often referred as G10/AS in the past. Firstly, they did not use the fuselage “moon” fairing on the left side as with the previous AS version. Instead, they used a square panel totally integrated in the fuselage. They also used different cowls, covering the nose without the chin bulges found on the K4. The oil cooler was also different, larger and slimmer than the K4 model. It was most probably designed for the H version as well.
The Erla solution for covering the DB605D on the G10 was overall the most elegant one and naturally begs one question : Why were they the only factory doing so, especially when Messerschmitt itself was using “moons and bulges” on the brand new K4? We may never know for sure. However, the planned 109 H was designed to use covers strangely similar to the one used by Erla on the G10. A very possible explanation is that the items and tooling pre-produced for the H version were redirected to the Erla production at the time of the G10 introduction.
Since Erla started the G10 production quite early, the first a/c still used G6 wings with “small” wheels and the Erla canopy with antenna mast. Later, Erla used the same new wing with larger wheels as the other manufacturers.

Airfix P-40 wars
When the Airfix P-40 was release the was this fear battle of the bottom of the wing. It had got so heat some folks got banned from Hyperscale. Mike West quick came out with new resin keel. All I have is the reference from the great debate.

Amazing Airfix P-40C build Roger Fabrocini
started
the 1:48 AirFix Warhawk. some molded levers were cut off and
replaced. side wall parts detail is a bet soft so i filed them down
to make them thinner.
AirFix
added panel lines that don't exist around the middle, under the
canopy opening, part of the fuselage. i removed them and added rivet
detail. to tie it all together i riveted the rest of the fuselage
(wings to follow). i also replaced the raised rivet detail on the
wing fillets with recessed rivets using a beading tool.
interior
colors is Tamiya yellow-green and black mix. detail picked out with
vallejo acrylics. data plates are dry transfers from archer, seat is
from UltraCast, lap belts P.E. eduard.
some
gaps filled with true-earth plastic putty. i'm using the UltraCast
resin exhausts and prop.
added
a cross brace to the windshield and scratch built a new gunsight
refelector plate, attached with future.
primed
with Mr. Surfacer 1500 black. pre shade with white, rlm 76, and
neutral gray. under surface color is mr. color #332, British Lt. A/C
Gray
Top
Camo is done. i wasn't too "jazzed" with my colors, Mr.
Color RLM79 and FS34079 green, too much contrast. the RLM79 was too
light., so i worked on over spraying it with Gunze H72 Dark earth.
Masks were cut from Tamiya tape
