Converting FW190 A3 to A4 (Tamiya) Part 2

Sorry for not posting progress on this.  I just had cataract surgery on my eyes.  Currently I have to let the eyes adjust to the new lense implants..   Here is part two.

I did not do as the instruction said.  The cur was continued to the wing root

1/72 P-51C build Bonnie "B"

Trying my hand at building a P-51C. This is the academy kit.  Overall it isn't that bad of a kit.  I had started for the 2019 IPMS national for the D-Day special award.  Needless to say I ran out of time. Because I couldn't get off my lazy ass...lol.    Below in the aircraft I was trying to recreate.

Lucky for me Kits-World has a decal sheet for it.  Not quite correct but close enough.  What If find interesting in the photo is the OD band between the invasion stripe on the fuselage. 

Part 2 of the Bf-109 G-2 build. Bad day in flat rock

Things had been rolling along until I screwed up the lower cross.  I had mixed my clear coat a little to hot. As it turns out I had paint wrinkling on the cross.  Yeap the black part.  Next I broke off the freakin rudder..  So no model for the nationals again.

Tamiya FW-190 Ramjaeger

I built this Fw-190 ramjaeger  several years ago.  This is the tamiya kit out of the box.  With a true details seat.  The model was an easy build.

1/72 Tamiya BF-109 E1 in progress

The kit is a pure joy to assembly.   I converted the model to a E1  by removing the cannon covers on the bottom of the wing.   Just need to fix a few  things than it will be done.

Academy Stuka build

My good buddy John need some model aircraft for his wargame.  I figured that a tank buster stuka would be the aircraft he needed to stop the Russian Hordes of tanks. 

I found the Academy a easy, quick three day build.  It was a fun build.   The only problem I had was getting the paint to stick to the canopy.
