1/72 RNZAF F4U decals by Ventura

 In the Pacific war the RNZAF operated four F4U Corsairs with nose art depicting a raging Donald Duck. Using references from Robert Montgomery's book "Pacific Corsair, Ventura Publications have now released a 1/72nd scale decal sheet that includes all four. Passing of Bob Letterman

 I just heard about the passing of Bob Letterman. If you are as old as me, you certainly knew about his amazing super-dioramas. Letterman works were the stars of many publications in late 80's/early 90's, and surely inspired a whole generation of modelers and miniature aficionados. Payne, Pruneou, and now Letterman... my heroes are retiring forever.
