Birdcage Corsair restoration 124th one made.

Very rare Vought F4U-1 Corsair, BuNo 02270 (ex. VMF-321 Hells Angels) which is one of only two early “birdcage canopy” Corsairs in existence. It was the 124th example produced by Vought.

Classic Jets Fighter Museum at Parafield Airport, Adelaide, South Australia.

It is make ones heart warm to see an old warrior raise again.

Restoration of Brewster built F3A-1A Corsair

Been meaning to post these photos for a long time.   Forgot where I placed them in computer.   Enjoy a lot photos for reference.   The navy considered the Brewster built Corsair as sub standard.  The majority never left the U.S.
