Did you Know Chuck Yeager flew B57s in Vietnam

 Colonel Charles E. (Chuck) Yeager:

In July 1966 he assumed command of the 405th Fighter Wing at Clark Air Base, Republic of the Philippines. While commander of the 405th Fighter Wing he flew 127 B-57B combat missions in South Vietnam. 

497th FG F-4

These photo are for reference for modelling. I have no claim on them.  Here are some great photos of operational F-4  I find the camouflage schemes unique to this Squadron.  These could be the early model F-4D as the early production one did not have the IR hump under the chin of the radome.

F-80 in Korea

Jack Cook this is the 25th FIS 51st FIW. A good friend from the airport here flew 100 F-80 missions with them in Korea. 1Lt Hap Saabye who flew F-80 FT-813 "Punk".

Early Model P-80A Photos by Terry Leo

There are so many amazing photo on facebook.  These photo are Terry Leo fathers slides. Col Carl Leo is the pilot in the photos. Served to WW2 , Korea and Vietnam.  He is a hero in my eyes to service that long.

P-80A-5-LO 44-85404. These early P-80s, contracted for in 1944, had no ejection seat, rather a plain bucket seat such as from a P-38.
