KMC F8-E Crusade update set

I have decided to scan my collection of Update set, Conversion and Photo etch.   This way there is a record. plus images of the in constructions.  It seems there is always a modeler looks for this information.

Kendall Model Company made hell of lot of resin parts.   They pretty covered every model that came out the needed a revising.  The resin most of the time was pretty. 

The is the correction set for F8-E the lower fuselage.  Some where I have the wing update set.  But like all modelers it has been put away in a safe place...lol

Chu Lai home of the 1st Marine Air Wing in Vietnam.

Being stationed at Chu Lai in 1968 the video still shows what is was.   A giant sand dune.  It looked moire like being in the middle east.   The only difference was I was with the Americal Division with the Army.   It is the history that is being lost.   Vietnam isn't taught in schools.  All the kids are told we where loser, drub addicts and baby killers.   Hell I was still a teenager when I got in country. At 19 it was an eye opener.  One grew up fast...  Here is a bit a history.

The B-26 was a hot ship to fly. I have always liked the sleek line of the bomber.  What amazes me is the high rate of speed for axing.
