German Drop tanks on P47's

It seems that this topic is back on Hyperscale.  9Th air force waas running short on napalm tanks to use against the German.  Some bring crew chief figure out how adapt german drop tank to work on the racks. So the 9th had a never ending supply of napalm tanks..

Highly detail 1/72 airfix Lancaster

Elgar Abbink amazingly detailed airfix Lancaster.  The model has been riveted using archer rivet details.   

Mig 17 wing. Updated 19 Mar 2020

It seems that the new Mig-17 by airfix has a bum wing.  The shape isn't quite right. I happened to find this out of a Soviet Maintenance manual.   All photo credit goe to Stimpy from the 72nd scale model forum
