Painting jet exhaust
Interesting technique to make sure burn cans ( Jet Exhaust ) looking more realistic. The stir sticks can be found at Hobby lobby. Simple but effective techique.

1/24 Airfix Mosquito
The photos are from Uschi van der Rosten FB page,' Here is what Alex said
I have not been aware of that. A few days ago I have received a pm including images of a 24th scale diorama of a Mossie replica being under construction. The model itself is made by Richard Clarke. (Richard if you read this: KUDOS!!!) The images on the show display have been taken by Ladislav Hancar. Richard used "Fine Veneer Plywood" and I believe "Knotless" and "Ronny Bar" in an alternating fashion. The finish is amazing. It´s modern, clean and on spot. The hue is exactly where it should be. The Mossie being depicted here appears to be NZ2308 on an early stage, being re-constructed by Gly Powell of Auckland_NZ. (Not 100% sure). Very cool project. I was like I´d share this with you guys. Have a good one! Happy modeling!

Memories of my first model kits
This would be around 1963. I stopped in Morris Hardware store on Gratiot and Seven mile in Detroit. The store had a small model section. This is when my addiction for building model kits started... The model where made by Revell. Hope this brings back some of my readers memories also. Please share you story on starting the hobby..
