191St & 127Th ANG RF-84F

 These pictures are from Ed Gumbko's personal collection.

Ed is sitting on the wing of his RF-84F. Next to him is Ed Kelow who has passed away a few years ago.

VP-93 Naval Reserve Squadron, Selfridge ANG

 Around 1975 VP93 was reactivated by the US Navy as a reserve squadron.   The unit was only activated for 20yrs. Bill Clinton de-activated the major of these high skill naval squadrons and personal.  As Clinton said the cold war was over.  What people didn't the unit still tracked soviet submarines, but all the drug runner out of South American.  I served with VP-93 as AE/FE on the P-3A.  Sadly a lot of my squadrons of my era have past.   This series of photos are for my good friends and Squadron mate.

 

I was the FE in the chase P3 taking the photos.

IDF A4 Skyhawks

 Here is a group of IDF A4 Skyhawks.   Always liked the camouflage scheme of the IDF aircraft.

191st F4-C early tail marking.

 My good Austrialian mate Jamie made these early tail marking decal.   The markings were on 534 for a short time.   Col John (Skip) Kimberly didn't like them.   So John Bullis modified the markings to what became 191st "Six Pack" marking.
