New Zealand historical group brings home former NZ airliners.

Hi folks, some developments we know you'll be interested in hearing about. Regarding B737-219 (ex NAC/Air NZ ZK-NAD) - our US based representative will be heading to Laurinburg-Maxton, Nth Carolina in the coming weeks for a face to face meeting with its owners, this should result in NAD finally returning to Kiwi ownership. Regarding B747-419 (ex Air NZ ZK-NBV) - we have re-established contact with owners Aersale. NBV is still at Roswell New Mexico and negotiations for the parted out airframe are about to begin. Regarding DC-8-52 (ex TEAL/Air NZ ZK-NZC) - we have completed the data gathering effort on the legal status of this airliner and are now in a position to fully understand and move forward with what needs to be done to clear airport company Infraero's sale of NZC to BOBH. It's all still a work in progress but it is progress - we'll update you when we know more. We can only do this work through your support and generosity, so if you can make any sort of donation to help fund the work needed to secure NAD and NZC that would be great. See BOBH

Going through my photo stash I found these B-25 photo.  These have been setting the files for the blog for a few years.   I believe I found these on FB.  The aircraft crashed during a training sortie during WW2
