Photos of A-4's at Chu Lai early days. Marine air support.

Here are a bunch more of veterans photos that had been taken at Chu Lai.   Time frame is form the first flights of the field until the airfield was closed.  Lots of memories for me. My time frame was from 1968-1970.  This is also tribute to the men and women at service at the airfield.  Plus to keep the memories going for those who have pass on over the years.

In this batch I will try to insert the early years.  The A-4s had to use Jato bottles to get airborne. Than use a arrestor land system while the large runway was be constructed.  This like 53 yrs ago so be kind if my photos repeat or get mixed up.
