Dont fall over dead. Painting F-14 engine

This is off a face book modeling grop.  Kevin  Ottens photo and work.

A black primer was applied
The mid section of the engine has been sprayed with the titanium color.

Both ends are then sprayed in Burned Metal

The nozzles are sprayed in Jet Exhaust. I also used it to create some variety in tones on the overall engines.

Copper and blue metallic are used the create heat exposure.

Everything is then sealed with gloss varnish.

Burned umber is used to enhance the heat exposure effect.

A mixture of 50/50 wood and orange rust concludes the heat effect.

These sort of seals are painted in black gray.

And a drybrush is applied on those parts.

One engine with a wash and one without

The dark wash was been applied on both engines.

Engines so far.
