127th Photo Recon F-6A

 During the second world war. The 127th was a photo recon that flew P-6A.   Still looking for photos of the unit during the war.   

Aluminum foil as a natural metal finish.

 Found this video on how to do a foil finish.   The video is top notch in explaining the process.  Hope this will help one get a great natural finish.

TBM and engine change

 This is one aircraft you hardly see posted on the internet.  Called the Turkey because it is ugly. But it was one hell of bomber in the pacific.   Hope you like the photos.  Also the engine is being hung the old school way with a forklift.

VMA-211 Chu Lai Vietnam

 A4D-5 being attached to the trackless catapult system on the east west Chu Lai runway. Annamite Mountain range seen to the background. This aircraft, 151088 (VMA-211) shot down by ground fire over Hiep Duc, 20 mi W of Tam Ky Aug 11, 1967. 1st Lt. Kenneth Allen Berube failed to eject and was killed when his Skyhawk (BuNo 151088) was hit by ground fire while providing close air support near Hiep Duc.
